Please don't have a broken microphone. Had this issue before. Last partner sounded like he was on an airplane... Rating: It's hard to do rating requirement cause if it's too high for some people they won't even comment. I'm hoping for at least 2.6. Class: Frost Mage. Nothing else, no other spec. Simply because Frost has the best synergy with Sublety. Rest should be fine. Just don't be an idiot on Skype. I'm not 13, so please don't comment if you're going to be a kid, thanks.

Getting one soon (hopefully). Been trying to get one lately, but I don't want to level professions (it's easy, but boring) & I want mogs xD.

uraganuu Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 It's about the CC chains and bursting ability. Fire has more burst potential, but setting it up takes time and CAN be messed up with ease, that's why he prefers frost. Plus, frost mages don't even need to cast anything here :|

Frost: -can use Deep Freeze to poly healer -pet root + pet can keep people in combat from restealthing -insane instant damage if setup correctly + 15% damage from rogue (tricks). can easily do like 90k+ lances -burst ability lines up perfectly with rogue's Shadow Dance. Both are 1 minute. Fire: -have Dragon's Breathe. Great that, but you have to stay in their face and you rarely get a double DB (unless they're bad). -have to use Deep Freeze on kill target. Only way you'll kill someone. No Deep Freeze means no more Hot Streak proc, that means no more pyros and that means no more damage -no survivability against melees whatsoever (as frost you have pet nova. pet nova -> out of combat -> eat) -need to play with frostjaw to setup a deep which means no rof and that's a huge thing. Rof is bugged in a good way, but even on retail it was huge against some teams -need to play deep freeze glyph, otherwise druids can just shapeshift Fire is useless for this comp. No good comes out of it. You're being forced to play with talents & glyphs you don't need as Frost. Frost is 10000000000000000000x better.

Fire is abit hard to setup if they go on you.. and especially if they dispell your DF/FN
