Furmetal
Realm tested - Fun realm Date tested - 17/10/2015 Spell - Slam Description - The damage is higher than it should, I can't tell exactly what since I don't know the coefficients that are being used in the database. See spoiler for more details. Overall Status Formula = 275% weapon damage + 3427 My attack power = 23984 (irrelevant) My weapon damage = 13110 ~~ 19667 My PvP Power = 34.62% Warrior’s resilience = 80.00% Seasoned Soldier(read changelog) = +25% Physical Damage Warrior’s armor = 32861, resulting in a 41.53% defensive bonus Converting weapon damage into slam damage 275% of 13110 = 36052 + 3427 = 39479 275% of 19667 = 54084 + 3427 = 57511 39479~~57511 on a pve target without Seasoned Soldier bonus Adding Seasoned Soldier bonus on minimum damage 25% of 39479 = 9869 39479 + 9869 = 49348 Adding Seasoned Soldier bonus on maximum damage 25% of 57511 = 14377 57511 + 14377 = 71888 PvE damage = 49348~~71888 (no armor) Minimum PvP – Adding PvP Power 34.62% of 49348 = 17084 49348 + 17084 = 66432 Minimum PvP – Adding Resilience 80% of 66432 = 53145 66432 – 53145 = 13287 Maximum – PvP Power 34.62% of 71888 = 24887 71888 + 24887 = 96775 Maximum – Resilience 80% of 96775 = 77420 96775 – 77420 = 19355 PvP damage = 13287 ~~ 19355(without armor) Damage on the warrior(armor) - Minimum 41.53% of 13287 = 5518 13287 - 5518 = 7769 Damage on the warrior(armor) - Maximum 41.53% of 19355 = 8038 19355 – 8038 = 11317 Damage in the warrior = 7769~~11317 Current damage in a PvE target = ~~71960 when it should be up to 71888 Current damage in a PvP target(warrior) = ~~13563, when it should be up to 11317 Note - Both warriors had 496 ilvl, no enchants, gems or procs. Note - Results are approximate since I didn't use fractionary numbers(such as 203,3 and etc). How it should work - The formula should be applied properly. Priority - 9/10, warriors can literally do over 130k slams in their burst, and you add this with some other bugs such as the untrinketable intimidating shout/~~45k deep wounds, which can make warriors easily kill anyone/anything. Also the damage difference gets only higher and higher the more gear/buffs you get. Furmetal
I had forgotten to add the 1276 base damage, added now. Formula corrected and updated, damage is still higher. Link to comment
potatoe
You do realise that the 1276 base damage scales with attack power right? Did you at least read the tooltip of slam ingame? There is what 2 k damage on the dummy difference in your calculations which is probably caused by the base damage. And the damage in pvp? rofl armor can be bugged, pvp power can be bugged, resil can be bugged, pvp calculations are irrelevant. Link to comment

potatoe
You could have just you know... read the tooltip ingame. You can see that 275% weapon damage plus 3427 http://i.imgur.com/00HNAQW.jpg Link to comment

You can see that 275% weapon damage plus 3427 http://i.imgur.com/00HNAQW.jpg Your info was indeed very useful, specially your screenshot, with made me realize about a function that I until now remained unknown to me, the detailed spells formula that are alredy built in the client. I remade the entire formula(and I'll probably do it with other spells too) and I got a more accurate result, which is now posted. There is still a difference from what it should to what it is. @Edit This option only helps in certain situations, still, useful. Edited October 18, 2015 by Furmetal Link to comment
Brettragg
Just so you know, my slam used to crit 150k on mages in s14 on retail Link to comment
Noneedholy
hm ... Actually warrior is pretty op here yes but you won't fix that if slam is doing 200 less dmg :l. Just a tip : you will find a dmg overscale in EVERY spell ! I almost think that resil. is bugged. I remember when i came from retail here and i was like "Holy shit the dmg here from EVERY class is by far more than it was on retail". After i asked shelby to play here on pandawow aswell, he told me the same thing after 2 days. Really i would check resil or something, otherwise you will have to report every spell here :D Edited October 18, 2015 by Noneedholy Link to comment

Furmetal
Declined, what is really bugged is resilience. Link to comment
