Tracker Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 1. http://www.db.pandawow.me?spell=102051 2. What's bugged: If a player have http://www.db.pandawow.me?spell=1044 or http://www.db.pandawow.me?spell=108273 up, they can still be hit by http://www.db.pandawow.me?spell=102051, it will not root them but it will still silence them and make them vulnerable to http://www.db.pandawow.me?spell=44572. 3. How it should work: If a player is under the effect of either http://www.db.pandawow.me?spell=1044 or http://www.db.pandawow.me?spell=108273, then http://www.db.pandawow.me?spell=102051 should neither root nor silence them . 4. 22/1/2016 Realm: x100 Priority: 10/10. 2
Repitchx Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 i thought freedom should remove it as well, but its working as intended. it's not bugged. ill try to find proof
Tracker Posted January 25, 2016 Author Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) its working as intended. Thanks for coming by. It turns out that you are right, I did find this on the official forums Sounds to me that it's working as intended. It's one de-buff with two components, not two debuffs. When you shift or aura mastery it you remove one portion of the debuff therefore the second connected component is also removed as it's tied to the first. With a pre-emptive Freedom you aren't actively removing anything, the debuff is still applied and therefore the silence. The root component is also still applied but has no effect due to your immunity. If you could freedom whilst silenced then yeah the debuff would be removed and neither would apply, but you can't. Same should happen with aura mastery if you pop it before frost jaw is applied rather than after. You'll still be rooted, but won't be silenced. It's just the difference between actively removing something and having an immunity. http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/8626003606 Again it looks like we still have a bug here, as Aura mastery and unending resolve in pandawow are making targets immune to both the root and the silence components of frostjaw. Saylance Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Tracker, Warlock has ability to anti-silence, is it also make Frostjaw imune in froze ?
Frostshotz Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Tracker, Warlock has ability to anti-silence, is it also make Frostjaw imune in froze ? Yes, it does make them immune to frostjaw atm.
Developers Neff Posted May 13, 2016 Developers Posted May 13, 2016 Declined. On this video i found a two proofs. 2:43 - 2:46 - Pally with freedom, then mage uses a frostjaw and pally get a silence (without the root). 4:07 - 4:10 - Pally in frostjaw, then he uses aura mastery and frostjaw root+silence was removed. The same as our server.
