Mastery: Gift of the Serpent

 

Mastery: Gift of the Serpent 23.95% mastery. I did a test with 90 ticks from Renewing Mist . 10 ticks per Renewing Mist on 3 people = 30 ticks, tested 3 times = 90 ticks in total.

 

23.95% chance to proc orb from 1 tick. 90 ticks on average should bring about 21.555 orbs. (90x0.2395=21.555)

23.95% chance to proc orb from 1 tick. 30 ticks on average should bring about 7.185 orbs. (30x0.2395=7.185)

23.95% chance to proc orb from 1 tick. 10 ticks on average should bring about 2.395 orbs. (10x0.2395=2395)

 

From 90 ticks of renewing mist, I received 4 Gift of the serpent procs (Mastery: Gift of the Serpent). On average I should get 21.555 orbs. Just to clarify this does not mean that I WILL get 21.555 orbs, its just saying in the perfect world, this will happen. But it is safe to say that the formula is bugged as I did 90 ticks and only received 4 Procs.

Already added it, 4 orbs in total... regardless, even it if was 6,7,8 orbs its still EXTREMELY below the average.

Короче, с английским туго, но я до сих пор считаю что сферы у нас ЗАВЫШЕНЫ, а тут втирают дичь про то что их слишком мало. На офе никто в здравом уме не забивался в мастери как наркоман, потому что это было бесполезно, посмотрите любое POV видео с актуала панды за мв монка, НИГДЕ нет кучи сфер, хоть усритесь

That's inaccurate. Test it with 1 spell at a time on a set amount of people. I chose Renewing Mist due to the fact that it has 10 ticks making it easier to calculate.

You're using those spells on an uncountable amount of people. Look at this where there are 3 renewing mists without a single cast of Uplift.

You know what really grinds my gears? People that are well capable of speaking english 1 post before but then start speaking russian in the english section i think this should be punishable lol

Yep, BUT look at this spheres. They spawn near the player in wich them triggered, and they are near me.

Okay, test this in a place where ONLY you receive healing from Renewing Mist ONLY. Then you will see the result. Don't make it confusing.

You're missing the point @pelia. 90 ticks of Renewing Mist gave me 4 mastery orbs. 1 cycle of renewing mist = 10 ticks. these 90 ticks that I recorded, ONLY gave 4 mastery orbs. Make a video. As far as I know you could have been standing there for 20 minutes and got those orbs.

There is a different and hidden procc chance for Renewing Mist if I recall correctly.

 

If you compare any s15 video with pwow you'll notice a difference in mastery proccs imo though.

I remember testing this myself like 2months back. I got not even 3orbs in 3min, not kidding. I am not defending OP here, but instead of trashtalking you could actually try to adress the report by disproofing it, with actual math.

 

Show the amount of ticks.

 

Also as said, you might be arguing over nothing. Ask Neff.

Whats also annoying is the fact that they can't even read my report correctly. In this picture you linked, you most probably were spamming renewing mist, uplift and most importantly Rushing Jade Wind. Which has an insane amount of ticks which is then multiplied by the the amount of people it ACTUALLY heals. For the purpose of this report, please stick to the spell Renewing Mist In this report I use the spell Renewing Mist ONLY.. My Renewing Mist Healed 90 times, in those 90 times that it healed, it gave me 4 mastery orbs. In reality if % chance was perfectly accurate, I would get 21.555 Mastery Orbs.

Lol. No. All monk spells have different coefficient of mastery. Example - http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Mastery:_Gift_of_the_Serpent.

90x0.2395x0.15(coefficient for Renewing Mist in MOP) = 3,23325 (you have 4 procs)
