expertise not working 100%right

 

Description

i have above the cap for pvp (+5% expertise) and still i see very often that my target dodge or parry (and i don't talk here about tanks or rogue/ferals) even casters/healers dodge and parry like bosses.

 

What is the problem

it happens very very often and my target dodge or parry

i lose rage from white hits or lose burst damage

it's very annoying to get dodge/parry even with 5% expertise in pvp.

 

 

Additional Information

after 1 random bg i come to test on level 90 dummy and saw this

 

white swings - 12 dodge in 1 min

i like what you do with the server and how things are going on here but pls. guys show some love to warrior class to. (and not just warriors - because expertise bug have a huge effect on all melee classes)

lvl 85 target dummy (no boss)

expertise 7.68% (2271)

in arena is even worse and terrible.

i expect parry from warr / dk (strenght give parry) is normal

i expect dodge from ferals/rogue/ww monks (they have a lot of agility) is normal

but other classes like healers / casters can't dodge or parry on some normal server.

here they dodge and parry even from behind

half of my burst is gone and half of my damage is on dodge and parry expertise bug

half of my rage is gone > no rage = no damage

 

guys, when you have time in next update pls fix this bug. is not only for warriors all melee classes lose damage.

Confirmed for me too on my enhancement shaman, retribution paladin and other chars: dodged, parried or miss on targets which shouldnt be able to with abilities thats should not miss(not on mistweaver monks with dematerialize buff), example parry stormstrike from priest, miss stormstrike(and the priest was not night elf, that has 2 % chance to be missed), and this with expertise and hit chance much over their cap.

Becouse Miss, Dodge, Block, Parry values are from Cataclysm: Expansion 5%, in Mists of Pandaria these base values are 3 % (before modified by str/agility for specified class)

What the guy says is only half true. If you got expertise hard cap btw is 6%, you can still be dodged and parried. Reason is classes have more that 6% dodge + expertise ratings. Miss on the other hand is truly bugged, you can miss with a melee even with 3.5%+ hitrating. But expertise is semi-okay. Only problem is classes have way more dodge and parry rating then they should. Especially casters who have 5% parry and 5% dodge isntead of 0 parry and 3% dodge.

 

Plate classes have 20%+ parry here they have like 35%+ and agility classes have 15-25% dodge here they have 20-30%. The scaling is bigger. Still. Getting parried by plates and dodged by agility classes will always happen, but with proper expertise ratings you can NEVER get dodged or parried by a caster
