GionBali Posted August 20 Posted August 20 **Issue Description:** When playing with a fully localized Italian client (`itIT`), server-side texts such as NPC interaction menus (gossip) and scripted event speech bubbles are sent in English, while the game UI and NPC audio play correctly in Italian. **Attached Examples:** 1. **NPC Gossip Menus & Options:** NPC text and choices like *"I'd like to see what you have to sell."* are displayed in English (e.g., Farmer Saldean). 2. **Scripted Event Speech Bubbles:** Speech bubbles during world events or dungeon encounters appear in English (e.g., Glubtok in Deadmines). **Steps to reproduce:** 1. Launch the game with an `itIT` client. 2. Interact with NPCs (vendors/questgivers) or trigger dialogues in dungeons. 3. Observe that while audio is in Italian, menu options and chat speech bubbles are sent in English. **Expected result:** The server database should send Italian (`itIT`) strings for NPC menus, response options, and speech bubbles. **Current result:** The server falls back to default English strings for database-driven texts.
Administrators Macsimka Posted September 17 Administrators Posted September 17 We had a lot of missing Italian and Portuguese locales. Fixed. Will be applied after update. 1
GionBali Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Hi Macsimka, Regarding the Italian localization fix After today's 1.19 GB update, players using the Italian client (itIT) are still getting Portuguese (ptPT) text. This affects NPC gossip options, quest texts, and even city chat channel system messages. It seems the server database is still directing itIT client requests to Portuguese strings instead of applying the Italian database table shown in your preview screenshot. Could you please check if the itIT locale mapping needs to be re-applied? Thank you for your time! Edited 19 hours ago by GionBali 1

GionBali Posted 57 minutes ago Author Posted 57 minutes ago Thanks for looking into this, Macsimba! Some things are definitely fixed now — the player response options (gossip choices) are now correctly displaying in Italian! However, a few database tables are still falling back to Portuguese: Quest Titles & Texts: Quest descriptions, objectives, and titles are still in Portuguese (e.g., "Espreitando as panteras"). NPC Names & Greetings: NPC titles (e.g., "Estalajadeira" instead of Innkeeper/Locandiera) and main NPC greeting dialogs are still in Portuguese. I attached two screenshots showing the remaining Portuguese quest and greeting texts alongside the working Italian options.
