xeckox Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 or maybe this is what they mean.. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/defiance .. since its just a word and no where in their name has there been any inclination to being a part of or relating to that show i dont see how they are copyright infringing. i am more than likely sure they are referring to the definition rather then the show.

xeckox Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 i think you guys are just mad at that guild.. or are trolling.. a word such as the one in question is not copyrighted.. now if they were pertaining to or relating to the show then yes.. but once again.. a word is not copyrighted unless it correlates to the show you are saying owns the word.. and the word has been used since the 15th century.. and besides you cant put a copyright on a word that would prevent everyone from ever saying it again.. i believe what you are trying to describe is a registered trademark.. but that would only take place as i have said.. in a commercial use or in a case where the name in question would be made to profit off of.. like i said in the beginning i think you guys are trolling.. do a little research before you go all crazy about a name of a guild.

absinthic Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 The fact that you where muted for making fun of one of that guild members makes me think otherwise. Reporting people because you have it out for one of there members is something you should sort out in game and not waste the time of reporting the guild for a stupid reason.
