No, it got bugged because of the whole totems can't get dotted report, totems are now unable to receive debuffs, which fucked up marked for death. But don't worry, just for you I'll find video proof. :)

Upon further investigation, if you Grimoire of Sacrifice your pet and resummon it with Flames of Xoroth, it will not have soul link buff, you need to resummon the pet to get the soul link buff on pet. In world it's working, in wargame, this problem is active.
