This has not really something to do with gate cause it's a latency behaviour. You can Demonic Circle: Teleport such spells aswell. But at least it shows that you will be moved while getting stunned after clicking gateway.

Proof how CC interacted with gateway, example "Dragons Breath" As you can see breath is on CD, shaman is on his way to second gateway. Basic rules which always apply (how it was on retail): 1: You should only be able to use gateway when you are not in: Any CC besides Silence/Disarm-effects. 2: It should not be possible to get the gateway debuff without traveling to your second gateway's location. 3: You would always travel the distance no matter the hell what happened after you clicked. H o w. Not a single high rated mage complains about this bug. You just have it on toggle and you got no problems. It has pretty much no downside. This happens with every pet existing in the game. So it's not waterbolt itself.

? How should this cancel the cast? Are there special conditions for pets or what? I used to play with IMP with /cast firebolt or w/e on retail, when spaming it, it would not cancel.

This is an advantage, but not a 10/10, please. LIke, temp shield making you immortal is 10/10, getting a free finger of frost aka 70k dmg for free when beeing in the rare scenario that you use your pet nova like a scrub is not a 10/10 at all. But i'd imagine it should be easy to fix so yea. It still gives fingers of frost with petnova without hitting anything btw?

Maybe your english is a little broken but no. Wtf is wrong with you guys. If you are able to click the gate in: Range+while not in CC, you will get teleported no matter what enemies will do after you clicked.

That was not my point, again, ring of fire stacking. In other words; Don't cry, RoF does regenerate more embers and can be stacked, therefore it's not a 10/10 report AT ALL since you benefit from other bugs with RoF.
