Spell - Slam

 

Date tested - 26/10/2015

 

Description - The damage you get from the formula is higher than it should.

 

 

Overall status

Formula = 275% weap damage + 3427

My weap damage = 13110 ~ 19666

My AP = 23962

My PvP Power = 34.62%

Warrior's resilience = 80.11%(due to resilience bug)

Warrior's armor = 41.53%

My weapon speed(slam has normalized speed coefficient) = 3.60

Seasoned Soldier = +25%

MINIMUM - Getting minimum weapon damage.

damage = base weapon damage + (weapon speed * attack power/14)

damage = 13110 + (3.3 * 23962 / 14)

damage = 13110 + (3.3 * 1711.6)

damage = 13110 + 5648,2

damage = 18758,2

 

18758 * 2,75 + 3427

52989 + 3427 = 56416

56416 * 1,25 = 70520

MAXIMUM - Getting maximum weapon damage

damage = 19666 + (3.60 * 23962/14)

damage = 19666 + (3.60 * 1711)

damage = 19666 + 6159

damage = 25825

 

19666 + (3.3 * 23962 / 14)

19666 + (3.3 * 1711.6)

19666 + 5648.2

Damage should be 70520 ~ 93056 on an armorless PvE target

MINIMAL PVP

68763 * 1,3462(PvP Power) = 92568

92568 * 0,8011(PvP resilience) = 74156

92568 - 74156 = 18412

18412 * 0,4153(armor) = 7646

18412 - 7646 = 10766(correct damage on the warrior)

 

MAXIMUM PVP

91300 * 1,3462 = 122908

122908 * 0,8011 = 98461

122908 - 98461 = 24447

24447 * 0,4153 = 10152

24447 - 10152 = 14295

 

PVP damage = 10766 ~ 14295, current damage - ~13.5k+

 

Note - Numbers are rounded.

Note - I am not sure if it is in fact normalizated or not, I'll check it tomorrow when my source gets back online. If yes, then the difference in damage will be even higher.

Note - All done with two 496 ilvl warriors without enchants, gems and procs.

 

 

 

How it should work - Formula should be applied properly.

 

Priority - 9/11, the more gear/damage multipliers(such as buffs, Avatar, debuffs on target, etc) you get, the higher the damage gets, ending up with even 115k+ slams with a trinket proc(and armor debuff).

Excuse me sir, but where is the maximum weapon damage calculation in pvp?

Your maxim weapon damage calculation was 93056 on an armorless PvE target , but when you did the maximum pvp calculation you put 73056 instead of 93056, so you put that 73056 just that so you can say slam is bugged and want to be nerfed right?

war is big nob class and do much dmg... need fix or nerf! (i want both :D)

Further tests showed me that Slam is working as intended.

 

The problem might be regarding procs or enrage effects.

 

I'll test these later.

 

@potatoe That was a mistype, probably because sometimes I forget to add a coefficient and then I have to do the entire formula again, and I might have forgotten to change this one.
