PandWoW Criteria for punishments for in-game violations

Please read these rules very carefully.

Note that these rules do not describe all possible situations of inappropriate behavior. Administration has the right to restrict the player access to the account if he considers his behavior on servers or forums is unacceptable, regardless of whether it is described in these rules or not. In all cases, the last word goes to Game Masters and Administrators. Remember also that the sanctions imposed on you on the forum (temporary or permanent ban) can also lead to suspension of access to game accounts and other forum accounts and vice versa. PandaWoW reserves the right to deny access to the server for any player at any time if he violates these rules (or in the case of another violation not specified in the rules).

 

If you meet a player who violates these rules, you should report him.

 

List of major violations for which your account will be suspended:

 

1. Violations with minimal suspension time 30 days and more*:

 

1.1 Use or advertisement of any unauthorized third-party software, programs to automate any facet of the game, cheats or hacks;

(60 days of suspension and more; Using scripts (pqr) - from 90 days; If a player use such programs in a group or raid, punishment will be given to all party or raid members.

• Use, advertising or promoting any unauthorized third-party software, programs to automate any facet of the game ("botting); alone or in a group or raid to give an advantage also for group members.
• Publishing links for downloading or for acquaintance with cheat-software or explanations in global channels how any cheat programm (or another forbidde software or script) works.
• Discussions related to any cheat-software in global channels.
• Publishing links to any scamming or hack--resources in global.

 

1.2 The use of any bugs or exploits in a group/raid or engaging in any other activity that grants an unfair advantage or disseminates information about such exploits;

(from 30 days; while doing that in group or raid group all group members may be punished and all goods got while that activity may be removed)

• Such activity in a group or raid to give an advantage also for group members: all party members accounts can get banned.
• Being in places that your not supposed to legitimately be or without permission is not acceptable (like GM island or box room for example).
• Distribution or sale of any bugs or exploits that grants an unfair advantage and may degrade the gaming experience for other players.

 

1.3 Staff or Game Master impersonation, or attempts to use their names in threats or any scamming actions;

• Impersonation of a member of the staff, including guild names that shows affiliation to the server administration.
• Using GM tag (Blizz icon near the character's name in the chat).
• Malicious posting of false information allegedly from PandaWoW staff.

 

1.4 Any commercial activity;

• Selling or trading (or attempt) any goods for real money including goods that are not related to the PandaWoW or selling PandaWoW coins.
• Selling accounts (or attempt) or attempt to buy any PandaWoW accounts.
• Trading any characters/accounts (or attempt) for any goods, items, other characters or accounts or currencies also not related to the PandaWoW.
• Any commercial offers for real money.

 

Any attempt to commercialize anything from PandaWoW servers will result in an account lockout and its disbandment, we will not tolerate merchants on our servers.

 

 

1.5 The advertisement, includes advertisement of any third-party WoW servers.

• The advertisement of any non-beneficial, non-PandaWoW related businesses, organizations, websites or another world of warcraft servers in any way including the use of the in-game mail and private messages.
• Discussions about benefits of other projects and participation in them.
• Calls for the migration to another projects.

 

1.6 Scamming, sabotage; non-gaming behaviour that degrade the gaming experience for other players.

• Attempt to avoid punishment by hiding or removing the character; from 30 days up to permanent account suspension in addition to the previous punishment.
• The use of words "Bonus", ""Admin", "Message" and so on in character's names and guild's names which can be used for scamming.
• Stealing accounts or characters (in order to check the account we might suspend it for a short period of time).
• In-game mail scamming.
• Lying to staff members (or withholding the truth), particularly about rule breaking situations.
• DDOSing players of project (for this we need irrefutable proofs).

 

1.7 Wintrading: wins and losses in arena games by collusion with other players or in multiple windows;

it also related to: RBG or BG games, honor points (honorable kills), 1x1 games, Solo Que 3x3 and other types of rating games.
(30 days of account suspension and removal of the rating; In addition the following actions may be taken to the violator: The removal of items, weapons, equipment, visual enchantments, enchantments bought with arena rating and PvP currencies.)

• AFK on BG: Intentional repeated non-participation in BG games, refusal to fight without leaving battleground or preventing the character from leaving these BGs by repeating any routine actions or using special macroses.
• Collusion: avoiding games in order to fight only specific teams, bypassing all others in the queue.

 

 

1.8 Repetition of the violation or aggravation of the situation by committing other violations from another account; from 30 days to the current account and of course other accounts of the violator will also get banned.

 

1.9 Multiboxing (using third-party software to automate the game process from few accounts at the same time) in PvP.

 

 

 

2. Violations with minimal suspension time less than 30 days*:

 

 

2.1 Violation of the rule for choosing a character name or guild name.

• The use of inappropriate nicknames/pet names/guild names containing such language or expressions:

  obscene language (swearing), racial/ethnic slur or hatred, any fascist quotes or slogans; Allude to a symbol of racial/ethnic hatred; pornography or other inappropriate reference to human anatomy or bodily functions; politic expressions; insults towards religions and nations (we don't care if character was bought or created a long time ago, if a player is found to have participated in such actions, he/she must eliminate the violation by himself (change the name/disband the guild) in seven days).

   

  A warning is a 1-day account suspension, if violation will be not eliminated in seven days, character will get forced rename or renamed with random name; guild will be removed or renamed with random name.

   

  In case of repeated violation (for example, changing the nickname to a similar one), the account will be banned for 7 days + (with an increase of the ban period for each repetition of the violation).

 

2.2 Inappropriate behavior towards server administration or any staff member (insults towards chat moderator: part 3.11).

from mute, 7 days, up to 31 days account suspension.

• Insults or offensive expressions, obscene language, rudeness, trolling or other offensive actions towards server administration or the whole server; Disrespect to the server, which includes insults towards project or his owners;
• Messages, links to the web sites or images that may clear or masked represent a Staff Member in an abusive manner.
• Sending messages with inapropriate, offensive containt to the PandaWoW Staff Members via privat messages in the game or on the forum, in-game mail, tickets or in-game reports.
• Dissemination of false information about the server, the actions of employees (or about the employees themselves), ficlional facts, ficlional rules and decisions that are aimed at creating negativity in relation to the server and employees.

 

2.3 Abuse a bug existing in the game to provide yourself an advantage over others or engaging in any other activity that grants an unfair advantage; from 1 day or more, depending on severity and frequency.

 

2.4 "Ninja looting": when party or raid member steals the loot from of a corpse without letting other players roll for the items;
from 7 up to 14 days account suspension.

 

2.5 Scamming, taking another person's property without that person's permission or consent with the intent to deprive the rightful owner or mailing scam attempts;

from 3 up to 30 days account suspension.

 

2.6 Disclosure any private information of players or PandaWoW employees without their consent including photos, social networks, phone numbers, Skype, address and so on without his/her consent even if that information is not real;

from 1 up to 31 days account suspension.

 

2.7 The repeated and systematic violation of forum rules in a short period of time, ignorance of punishment;

from 7 up to 30 days account suspension and more for every new violation.

 

2.8 The repeated and systematic violation of in-game chat in a short period of time, ignorance of punishments; from 7 up to 30 days account suspension and more for every new violation; mute from 1 up to 7 days.

 

 

 

3. Violations, the minimal punishment for which is chat blocking (mute)*:

 

 

3.1 Rude insults towards players;
from 30 up to 360 minutes of mute.

• Includes racial, national insults or ethnic hatred.
• Insults with obscene language.

 

3.2. Insults, Provocative or mockingly messages about relatives of any player or PandaWoW employee including masked insults; mute, 7 days.

 

3.3 Using both clear and masked obscene language in /world and /english channels; from 30 up to 240 minutes.

 

3.4 Spamming: excessively communicating with the same phrase, similar phrases or pure gibberish, for the sole purpose of causing unrest in the game chat; more than 3 messages at once or in an extremely short period of time of 10 seconds; from 30 up to 4320 minutes (3 days). Chat Moderator has the right to determine the degree of interference to other participants in communication. In cases that players are causing serious problems in chat, moderators won't consider the short period of time and they will mute the offender.

• Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish; includes guild promotions or lookin for groups.
• Abusive using in-game function to indicate concrete player in any group; includes BG chats, global channels, /say and similar.
• Sending false alarms or nonsensical messages, also in CAPITAL letters.

 

3.5 "Skill-flood": messages which containing inappropriate and controversial content includes but not limited obscene jokes with linking items, spells and so on; mute, 240 minutes.

 

3.6 Using colored text in any channels; mute, 240 minutes.

 

3.7 Discussions about third-party servers:
mute, from 3 up to 30 days.

• Discussions about benefits of other Mists of Pandaria servers and participation in them.
• Calls for the migration to another projects.

 

3.8. Promote any political/ethnic hatred, any political petitions, jokes, discussions that may provoke hatred;
from 300 up to 720 minutes.

 

3.9 Any discussions, slogans or just mentions of the political agenda, political leaders, countries, parties from real life that cause a response from the players; 
from 300 up to 720 minutes.

People come to the game to take a break from real life and everything that is happening around. There is no need to promote your beliefs here. We are taking a break from all this here.

 

3.10 Excessive usage of caps lock in chat

[more than 3 messages at once or in an extremely short period of time (**less than 20 sec**)]; from 30 up to 90 minutes.

 

3.11 Rude expressions, threats or insulting moderators when they do their job (all nicknames of moderators are in

special topic); 
from 60 up to 720 minutes.

 

3.12 In-game casinos or /roll gambling

- 360 minutes.

 

 

 

**In cases that players are causing serious problems in chat, moderators won't consider the short period of time and they will mute the offender.

 

In guild, party and raid channels (we consider raid and party channels only those who are gathering for killing a boss and not being in a battleground or arena group), only bannable violations will be taken into consideration. Mutes are not issued on those channels since the leader of the group can conduct a vote for kick or kick immediately the player who is causing problems and guild master can remove the player from the guild too.**

Server administration has the full right to change the penalty without notifying users about it.

* The severity of sanctions depends on the specific violation, and not just on which category it falls into. The maximum term of punishment may be a permanent ban, which is equal to the loss of an account.

If you have witnessed similar violations by other players, please report this on our forum or in the game through an in-game complaint system.

If you would like to appeal a penalty placed on your account, please create topic to discuss it in our special Support Forum. Creating posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against any player (or group of players) in another sections or topics may often result in banishment from the forums.

These rules are created in Russian and in case of disputes and inconsistencies, the Russian version of the rules will prevail.
