Many people get banned and muted mostly because they haven't read the rules of the server. Most people don't even know there's an international sub-forum where they can actually read them.

 

My suggestion actually belongs to Zhalifa and Dotgirl to whom I say thank you for caring! :) Just as a copyright measure, hehe!

 

-Make the rules clearly visible on the website. Either stick another button in there clearly stating "Rules of the server" or make them visible on the front page. My guess is this will have a positive effect on the social aspect of the server and it will make players aware that a set of rules exists.

 

-Show a list of server staff on the website, so players are fully aware who they can call for help if they need it.

 

-Create a system to identify chat moderators on the chat. Either different color name or a prefix in their name. I suggest this because many times a chat moderator sees something bad(in terms of chat violations) is about to happen on the public chat and he will issue a warning. Many times, this warning is either fully ignored or given a "smart" comeback like "fk off" or "who do you think you are? LOL" etc resulting in even harsher punishment, including harshest one:-insults towards server or administration.

 

-Create a wishlist thread on the forum where players can input their most desires in terms of WoW, wether it's mounts added to vendors or items to the webstore, this would be a great place to get your wishes known by developers and administrators alike.

 

-Add a private chat channel for staff members, where Moderators can see and talk to GMs and administrators in cases of emergency or just regular problems, such as exploits. Many times, as a chat moderator, I have witnessed exploits being used and I couldn't contact anyone. I had to go through the regular process of taking pictures+reporting them on the forum. This takes time. Time that could be better used working on other problems. If a mod sees a major infraction being done, a simple message to a GM would solve the issue in less then 2 minutes. I have this relationship with Talvior where I can just /whisper her in case I see someone flying in a BG for example. 30 seconds later, they get banned. Make this system for all Moderators and GMs in a simple, private, chat channel.

It is true that makes a big difference, players control more vocabulary and those who violate the game in an exaggerated way, the better would know the consequences they may suffer.

Agree with @Shubhunterx, today after Burstmaster was reported on forum, he logged instantly ingame and talked in Russian to Melancholiax, because i dont have an iQ of a bread i took snapshots (if anyone wants to see).

It has been since I signed up on PandaWoW Russians here had always a objective not to get perma banned. Thankful we were able to get an English speaking GM that actualy does something.

 

I'm talking about Casualties, you maybe realized he bans people daily. But the good thing is, he bans RUSSIANS, ENGLISH SPEAKING people and etc. This guy is a beast. Even i got banned but i didnt go

and rage to my russian friend to get me unbanned because this is a Russian server and i can get unbanned instantly. I dont know whats the plan of the dev. to the future of PandaWoW,

but i repeat here again, since MoP and M***** came online alot of GOOD people left. Even people that were Rank one on this server. Because they have the same problem as we do since ages.

English speaking people always get instant banned. The thing is people cant decide about people that are for Fun and Gameplay here and the others that are just like "Oh this is a private server

i can act like a moron hehe i dont care etc. etc."

Going to Jail (2000+ English speaking people) and all the other Good players i meet daily are who that keep the Server up. For a few time ago I was in SwordArtOnline to help them with

Gearing, geming right, enchants etc., I did that because i was sick of entering in BGs and seeing people with no gems, enchants etc. and everyone on the english Chat where raging telling to them

stupid faggots, idiots, go die etc. even BLACKMAIL. But no one was ready to help them out. Ive also carried a Warrior to 2000 because he was a good player and friendly. On his way to 2000

we had to meet into issues like: Fucking spanish idiots getting carried, spanish people suck etc. We ignored that because we both weren't 12 years old. I know it's a Russian server,

but I was also in Nihilium without speaking Russian and made friends there. It's nothing about beeing good or bad, if people aren't ready to help each other, people will just join the server

and leave again.

 

All the server needs is people that are ready to help up each other. It's a SERVER, we're all here together. If you dont like it leave. If you like it stay.

Dont let people make you leave by getting you offended. We all dont like each other in a way (or atleast some people), but we will always face each other.

Russian dev. need to Focus more on the Community maybe. Maybe make an own Thread so we all can post in different language. Im pretty sure, if we had such a thread

were people can post Jokes, Fun pictures etc. in their Language the Community would become better. Then there we would maybe start to learn each other as Person,

and not just a walking Character in a WoW World.

 

English is not my main language so im pretty sure there will be alot of mistakes. Keep them for yourself. :)

When you have choosen the English interface.

 

That way we will get more players to visit the forums and the forums are not only here so they can read the rules, it's a tool for keeping an eye on the server itself contacting with the community looking up changes reporting players/bugs.

 

For the Mod thingy with chat we have a admin list in the same topic as the rules where both the forum account of the admin and their in-game contact info is so in other words if you read the rules you might wanna know whom to contact if you find a rule braker so you would read it aswell.

 

About the private chat, I use Skype myself and I have no problems with it. And if you haven't noticed you should join a channel every time you login on a character that has mod (not mentoning the name) atleast that is how it is on the x100 realm.

I will not go into detail about who you used our argument but in some points I have to agree, I have been playing games since I was 6-7 years old, I have been talking English at agood level at 8-9 and when you learn something so useful so fast you want everybody else to do it too. This means people can't stand other things/changes and tries to put them down cuz they are scared.

 

We are here togather and if we all try and come togather we can make changes a group is stronger than one man, I have heard many insults towards me and towards my friends over the years, I even have a friend that hates russians (he does not play wow) and he hates them deeply but he also can understand that all are not the same I myself hate spannish people (no offense I have manny friends that are spannish) the thing that makes us hate stuff can sometimes be very small things that will lead to bigger things.

 

We have all had our bad momments and we all (hopefully) had good ones aswell! English is not my mother language either and it's not like I'm anyone to jude on how to spell to diffrent words and so on. We all have to help and we can start with actually going on the forums and grow a bigger community where all can come along, the more we spread the word the more people of the same kind will come. If we make nice people leave they wont come back but if we help and try to understand the people will bring 2-3 of his/hers friends!

pandawow was never a server where you could communicate with administration/staff members directly , i play on this server since the beginning of 5.0 and nobody really cared about bug abusers or anything until very recently , the bugged to shit elixirs were in the shop for almost 2 years and only recently somebody FINALLY realised its a problem and removed them , im not going to start talking about pve items that are absolutely bugged and still noone seems to care... i made a ticket 1 year ago back in 5.0.5 asking "why is my pve set on mage not working? do the people who add the pve items in the shops even check them?" and the response i got was "people ask for pve , we add pve" , absolutely brain-less response from something that seemed like a robot , we dont need a better community , we dont need better forums or anything

 

WE NEED PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMMON SENSE , ADMINS AND MODS WHO HAVE COMMON SENSE

 

1st thing and the most important thing EVER ,

 

CHECK. STUFF . YOU. PUT . INTO . THE . GAME . BEFORE . ADDING . IT

 

this server has 10 thousand people online daily and ive never seen something so fucking unprofessional in my life

the admins who add items to the shop add them there without testing them and it ends up in a huge fucking banfest and the only people who get screwed over are the players , not the mods ofcourse.

juster says "we work on this project every single day" which is pretty untrue seeing how many gamebreaking bugs and OP classes there are

"talk about game balancing" , ive played on a server 2 years ago and my friend was a rank 4 gm (db access) and i know how easy it is to scale down damage numbers of certain spells to absolutely balance them out , you ask the server "why are warrors or mages or rogues op?" because NOONE who works for this server except casualties and the other mods ACTUALLY play this game

 

i thought this was common sense for 99% of the people who actually have the IQ of a human , but im guessing it isnt?

 

3. update your rules and actually think about them from the view of a player

i see so many people get banned for something that gets "declined" if somebody else reports it , it makes me really wonder who the hell is responsible for the banning and decisions

theres a perfect example in the reports section right now , burstmaster got banned for 30 days (which im happy for) for abusing synapse springs and trinket together , but right after when he reported somebody doing the same exact thing , it got declined ,

how the fuck would you feel if this happend to you? my friends got banned for "abusing elixirs" yet when i reported about 20 people abusing elixirs it got "declined" ????

sort your rules pandawow , this is making the server look so unprofessional ******-wow looks like a swiss watch compared to you.

 

most of the people who have atleast a tiny bit of common sense would agree with 99% of the things i stated , but ofcourse were talking about pandawow... so im expecting alot of hate , which im used to since common sense on pandawow = non existant .

I find this funny that you say a "GM" changed the coding of a game... Thats a Dev's job... Although, i agree they should beta test anything they put into the game would make fixing a hella lot easier. However, you could have laid this out in a bit more of a "professional" manner. Violence gets you nowhere, maybe just keep the flaming minimal. They are fixing things, albeit at a rate that could be improved... They are actively improving the game :). As im sure you know its 200% better than it was on previous patches.

Here's the thing , You 3 have 50/50 style english .. yeah my english grammar aint perfect too BUT You are admin's and gamemaster(s)You write these Rules and You don't write them correctly and You answer our posts incorrectly BUT IN SAME TIME You ask from Us correct english sentences.And Yes , website , god dear , sometimes I need to re-read 3 times to understand what you did mean. Just..what the actual ....? It makes completely no sense what you ask from us , sometimes. So my suggestion is get a person which know's English well and ask him to fix these grammar mistakes ( maybe Starcaller , just as example)Or ask us players where are these mistakes. Then You can ask us this so called '' correct english''.

 

 

And now bit Offtopic...is cheat engine bannable if you use it for tmog? And if it is , then why? Mail to Leather Tmog ruins game expierience ( lol) ? Like I don't think a transmogrified Sandrene's chest will affect server somehow.

If you read the server's rules, you will see that they are easy to understand and follow. Clear and to the point. Don't blame it on "poor grammar". While administrator's english might be flawed, as it's mostly google translate, our moderators have very good english skills. If you have some uncertainties about the meaning of some rules, post them here and I'll do my best to correct them in any way.

 

Cheat Engine is patched in, wich means you COULD use it, but your transmog will NOT save. So the next time you log in, your gear will lack the transmogrifiers you have applied in your last session. Also, Cheat Engine can be and it IS used not only for transmog, but for other malicious purposes aswell. This is why it's not allowed. If you manage to xmog something with CE and it stays, nobody will have a problem with it, but get cought using it for something else and you'll suffer the consequences.
