Developmental Suggestion for the Funserver
uraganuu replied to Sugarcreeper's topic in Panda WoW Fun
Suggestion: It would be amazingly fun to have GM orchestrated events. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing that would require alot of time and/or resources. My ideea and the purpose behind it is purely fun-based. So, here it is: Once every few months, so we don't keep the GMs too long apart from their work, it would be lovely to have a competition! Phase one: a week before the event, the automatic broadcast system informs the playerbase that a HUGE HORRIBLE monster will invade and devastate an entire city!! Oh noo! Send this broadcast a few times/day up untill the actual event, so everyone has a chance to find out about it and take some time to participate, if interested. Phase two: event starts! So, remember the huge horrible monster from earlyer? That's the GM, shapeshifted into some horrible and giant looking wow creature(give ideeas on what type of mob it would be). The purpose of this event is to make it fun/scary and entertaining. Phase 3: The GM(monster) invades a certain city and you need the players to kill it really quick before the entire world is destroyed piece by piece. The trick is that the GM will actually fight back with nifty tricks like huge DoTs, pushbacks, spell locks and chain-fears. Make the encounter harder then any instance/boss in the game. It's gonna be an army fighting him anyway, perhaps more then 300 players, so make it tough as hell! Phase 4: The monster, then, upon reaching 50% HP, spawns a variety of Rares wich need to be killed. Upon killing them, the big boss will be restored to about 80% HP, resulting in everyone going: "oh shit!" :) Phase 5: Once the big boss is dead, all participants can get a vanity item/title as proof of their heroism and bravery. This item/title will ONLY be temporary, in the spirit of the event. The ideea is basically the same old PvE bashing, but this time the mob has an actual brain. He can counter, hit hard, kill, nullify healers, cripple melees etc. Why? Because it's fun, on one hand, and it brings more popularity to the server. I have yet to hear about GM run events on private servers, ever. My strong belief is that this will increase it's popularity aswell as assure a different activity other then the game's itself. All we do here in pandawow is either pvp, pvm, farm or socialize. No events whatsoever. I feel this would be very fun and welcomed by the all so bored playerbase :) How do you guys feel about it? -
In fine, sper sa-ti gasesti ce cauti. :)

Trinket Ticking Ebon Detonator is bugged?
uraganuu replied to aleksatomic's topic in Declined topics
They do. The team of developers that's actively fixing bugs on this server is more then qualified to fix those trinkets. My guess is that they either didn't have time to do it, being busy working on fixing more important things like talents/glyphs, or there weren't many bug reports about them. Either case, just keep the trinket and wait for the fix. I'm sure it will come in soon-ish. I've bought an entire set of PvM trinkets for my mage, regardless of them being bugged, because currently I have no other use for conquest points and I'm more then certain that a fix will eventually arrive. -
The impossibility of creating crafted mounts on the Fun realm is normal and logical. On Fun, you can level up a profession in 5 minutes to 600, and since mounts are account-wide, this would produce an imbalance on X100 and x10 realms, where leveling up a profession is much harder and expensive. This goes for ANY craftable mounts, just so you know. So, if you see someone using a Jade Panther on the Fun realm, rest assured that his mount was crafted either on x10 or x100.

I'm not qualified to give a fully competent answer regarding your issue. However, my use of logic dictates that, if whatever you said is true, the person you bought the character from was still able to retract it from the Buy/Sell list, even tho such a thing is, in theory at least, impossible. I don't know what to say about his reply, tho. He's accusing you. Do you have proof of the purchase? If you bought the character and present the proof of the transaction, then this issue is simple and favourable in your case. I wish you good luck with solving it!

By the way, the dead crab that's supposed to be at the Rare's location is actually bugged and floating near the mountain top a few meters from the spawn location.
-
Hello, I've been looking for a rare mob in Pandaria, wich seems to never spawn. It's about Sahn Tidehunter ( http://www.db.pandawow.me?npc=50780). Now, the mob is supposed to spawn near the corpse of a huge crab elite mob. I have found this crab on top of a mountain near it's supposed location, but the Sahn mob is nowhere to be found. This happens on Fun, by the way. The mob drops some nice armors and vanity items I would love to have. Can I get a word on this, is the mob not spawning on purpose?

Trinket Ticking Ebon Detonator is bugged?
uraganuu replied to aleksatomic's topic in Declined topics
All PvM trinkets are either not working at all or only giving a fraction of the benefits. As it is, it's a waste of CPs to buy them. -
The ignore function needs to be fixed asap. BUMP for at least fixing the ignore, if those assholes aren't bannable.

On what realm? I just tested this on Fun on a lvl85 dummy and it does ~500-600 dmg/tick, like it should. If you've seen this being used by an arcane mage, it's understandable. Something is bugged in arcane spec, making absurd damage sometimes. WTB further investigation and, if needed, a fix so we don't end up seeing everyone using the same bugged enchant. - - - Updated - - - On what realm? Even if they don't downscale, it's still alot better to use PvP armor when PvPing due to the huge PvP power bonuses on them. When 5.4 was set of the server, everyone had Dreadful/Malvolent from previous patch and newly rolled players had the option to buy PVE armor sets. Now, even if those PVE armors had much better stats, the Dreadful sets were much much better purely because of PvP power. So, even if they don't downscale, the people who wear higher lvl armor then 522(Grevious) are actually using lesser items.

There are certain items that, when spammed, cause lag. Spam it fast and long enough, and you can cause someone to crash. There are a few arena teams who do this on a regular basis and only a very solid computer+connection can save you. I don't get crashed, but my FPS drops to 1-2, resulting in inability to play. Investigate and ban them please!

1. Name of not working spell/quest/npc: PvP panel/Honor section 2. Description of the problem. : Currently, you cannot remove certain BGs from the list. You un-click it, but you still get invited into them. 3.How it must work. : Once you remove a Battleground from that list, you should no longer be invited into one untill you choose so. 4.Date when you tested it. Every day since I started playing, 4 or 5 months ago. 5.Realm (x100/x5/Fun), on which you have found the bug. This happens on Fun. Haven't tested on other realms. 6.Priority of the problem. (1-10) I give it a 3. It's not a big issue. It's just that some of us dislike certain battleground layout and/or mechanics and would like to exclude them. I, for example, detest Alterac Valley. I never want to play it, and there are days when 6 out of 10 BGs are Alterac Valleys :(

OK THIS IS 2 MUCH STOP US ETHE GATE BUG
uraganuu replied to Heomano's topic in Game or Connection problems
So if a guy gets banned for let's say a damage exploit. He stays 30 days offline and then he's free to do it all over again untill someone reports him? This shouldn't be. Don't be easy with people who bend the rules this much. Set up a punishment fine line. I can give an example: 1. cursing/racism/spam=3 day ban max. 2. abusing bugs like the gate bug in arenas or BGs=30 day ban. 3. serious offenses like outside hacking tools, modification of spells, flyhack, speed hack and accunt theft should be punishable with a permanent IP ban. The ideea behind the permanent ban is not only to punish the perpetrator, but to also descourage the use of such exploits with the fear of ban. If several offenders actually get perma banned, I assure you...the remaining offenders will be scared to use their tools again, at the fear of losing their account. Combine this with an active form of reporting the use of exploits and you got a mean self defense mechanism that also makes the server more popular AND safer, offering an overall better gameplay. Look at Molten wow. Everyone goes there because the exploit tracking team is so incompetent, anyone can use exploits on their server. And while this is good in short-term, cause it adds playerbase, it's extremely bad on the long-term because soon players will have had enough of seeing so many exploits and will move to another server where this doesn't happen. That could be Pandawow, IF there was an actual punishment for being an exploiter. -
There are OP classes that change every new patch. -Like, for example, here in 5.4.2 destruction warlocks and frost DKs are incredibly strong. Warlocks are the best at getting many many killing blows because of the OPness behind Chaos Bolt+Shadowburn combo. -Mistweavers, here, aren't strong. They are just bugged to oblivion. EVERY high rated MW monk I've seen only uses a single spell in order to be unkillable, because the spell is so bugged you can spam it almost forever(Healing Spheres). Untill that gets fixed, misweavers are the best survival class in the game this patch in Pandawow. -Most OP healer...I have to say Holy Priest. It's not that they do 500k heals or anything, but the variety of tools at their disposal makes the holy priest an adversary not to be taken lightly. -Most OP melee healer is no doubt about it the Blood DK. They have a strike, I think it's Heart Strike, that should heal them for 14%(iirc) of the damage done. Instead, this spell heals the DK for 14% of it's HP, resulting in ridiculous healing ammounts. If they also stack on stamina, buffed they reach 1mil HP. Good luck bursting that down when he's got a 300k heal every few seconds. -Warriors have been buffed so high that you don't even need to look at your screen in order to get kills on them. If you have a cat, join a random BG and put your cat to walk on the keyboard. I assure you it will top DD and killing blows :) -Hunters appear very very strong this patch. No ideea if this is legit or they are all using some bugged talents as I don't play one. -Mages were always strong, as should they be, seeing how they're a little squishy. Arcane spec is bugged here, resulting in absurd ammounts of damage with several spells. Frost is strong, but I don't like the playstyle and Fire hits very nice and allows more mobility. Regardless what spec you pick, imo mages are really really fun class to play. Living Bomb is half bugged, tho, not exploding at the last tick...wich makes NT and FB alot better. -Subtlety rogues are the supreme masters of dueling, since with a bugged stealth they can stealth and vanish 20 times in a single duel....making them the most annoying class to duel. Sneak, duel starts, open with 3 seconds of stealth so you're already at 60% HP before you can actually see the rogue, and then they Cheap Shot you, Blind, vanish, open again with 3 seconds invis...cheap shot. If you're alive at the end of this cycle, it's probably cause there's a cat on the rogue's keyboard. -shadowpriests and affli warlocks are still the masters of AOE pressure. I don't see them as nerfed really. Mind Blasts crit for 70k, Mind Spikes for 60-80k and DoTs hurt A LOT! -ferals are OP, but that's what hybrid classes are in every other games really. Overall, imo, most OP dps classes are destro warlocks, frost DKs. For example, I had to get full grevious on my fire mage to hit 120k pyroblast crits, while a full malevolent frost DK hits 100k easy. Same for destro. 50k incinerates, 150k chaos bolts and the most powerful finisher in the game will kill many many geared players, just because of the way this class works. Most OP healers: -MW monks for self survival by far. They have one of the best kiting ability in the game and with the bugged spheres, you basically need a team of coordinated and competent individuals to take one out. -Holy priests(imo)-they offer shields, fast heals, fears, CC removal etc etc

OK THIS IS 2 MUCH STOP US ETHE GATE BUG
uraganuu replied to Heomano's topic in Game or Connection problems
This is a minor offense and the 30 day ban is more then enough, in my view. But what about those certain few who really abuse exploits and game mechanics bugs? People who use fly hacks, speed hacks, damage hacks, teleports and such should, in my view, be permanently banned. What actions are taken against these players? If they get 30 days banned aswell, then there is really no point in taking the time to report them...seeing how they'll be back doing what they do best in no time. I'm only asking because I've followed a few players using nasty cheats and I plan on reporting them only if the punishment will fit the crime. -
I'm not worried about people using this trick to xmog something, but I do worry about the same tool being used for something else. And it CAN be used to modify a lot of stuff in game. I would ban it's use completely. If you want to look nice, you already have thousands and thousands of items to choose from and transmog, so no need for using external tools to "hack" an xmog. Just improve the cheat engine detection mechanisms and ban people who use it. Make sure to announce a grace period on the website so people have the chance to transmog something else then legendary items on. Just my 2 cents

None of the PvM trinkets work on fun, or they only half work. The proc mechanic on all of them is bugged, so either not working or only giving a fraction of the benefits. Waste of conquest points untill fix

If the rest of your comment was unreadable, this part really made my day. :))

I suggest you sell your character just like everyone else and stop spamming the forums with it, or you can suggest the admins to create a sub-forum for market.

Holy Paladin heal isn't working right [IMPORTANT] [EN]
uraganuu replied to sacredila's topic in Declined topics
It's because of Battle Fatigue. When you are under attack, or healing people who are under attack, the healing is reduced to 50%. -
A 1vs1 is way too imbalanced. You could be queued to fight your hard counter or you get a really bugged class against you, wich makes the ideea of skill determining very hard. You could be the bestest of the best and still get owned by some random class who's talent is bugged and does 5x the damage/healing :-s I think besides the arena, there is no other way of seeing someone's real skill. And what does real skill mean anyway? In wow, everyone dies, regardless of class/gear/skill, you WILL eventually die. Did you suck then? Maybe, or maybe not. A skilled player has the ratio of kills vs deaths like 9/1. Even when you check out the top ranked players, you get a guy who's got 3k rating with 900ish wins AND 300 losses. Did he suck those 300 times? No, but the game is made in the way that everyone eventually dies and these arena rankings will change all the time, as should they.

Ice Block is working in almost same way as the paladin bubble, you can cast it even when silenced. On another note, you need more then 1 silence to beat a competent mage on a warlock.

Wether you like it or not, you deserve it to be honest. Account sharing is still account sharing, regardless if you share it now or shared it 2 years ago. Instead of treating this problem like an adult, admiting your mistake, you come here like a furious peasant and insult everyone who's giving input in your problem. If I were a staff member and saw this, I would delete the thread and ban both yours and your friend's accounts. The fact that he knew your account information is ENTIRELY your fault and nobody but yourself should answer for it. Good luck with your characters but as it stands and judging by the way you're asking for this to be fixed, no rational GM in this world would EVER help you restore your characters when, honestly, banning the two of you would solve the problem even better. - - - Добавлено - - - " Hello staff, I have a huge problem! Two years ago I shared my account information on game "xxx" with my friend. I stopped playing that game and moved to WoW recently, only to meet the same friend in this game too. After a few chats, we had an argument and we stopped talking to each other, only to discover he still knew my account information from back then. So he got into my account, transfered some of my characters and now he's even trying to sell them. Is there anyone from the staff able to understand me and help me in this problem, please? I put alot of work into my characters and I don't want to let that horrible person take advantage of them. PLEASE HELP ME! :(" Now, if you would've said something like this, then MAYBE you would've gotten some help, but with your attitude...I'd be surprised if they don't IP ban you. As a suggestion for your future endeavors, don't exchange private information with anyone and if you do and get burned, at least don't act like a stupid little kid when asking help. Cheers! /w Casualties
