Every priest that I saw on this server uses From Darkness comes Light, and I personally feel it's the best talent in it's range. You have to make a choice, have mana for healing or free healing? I'd go with free healing, wouldn't you?

Hello, My guess is that this problem occurs because of a newly installed or bugged Addon. Try this, after you reinstall a clean copy of the game, delete all folders besides "Data" and install the Pandawow archive from the webside, then install each Addon one by one and test the game. Some outdated Addons can really cause serious problems, as they were designed to work on alot older versions of WoW. They have lifes too, you know, family, children, problems, bills to pay etc. I have heard that we'll get a new update within this week, so we just have to wait. And by the way, this server is ultimately going to have every possible raid/dungeon working just as it does on retail....only without the 200.000 noobs.

Not 1000. I get resets too, but you need to consider these are not all scheduled/automatic resets, but also DOS attacks, flooding etc. I get your frustration, as it happens exactly when you were in the middle of something, but there's nothing really the staff can do. They are already doing a magnificent job keeping the server up after so many attacks from the competition.

Sky Golem and JWC mounts cannot be made on the Fun realm. If you REALLY want the mount, you can level up engineering on a character on x100(it takes like a day to get lvl90 and 600 eng), craft it there and you will also have it on the Fun realm, since mounts are account bound.

You can't say Holy Priests are useless, really, since you need at least 2 competent and skilled individuals to take down one of them. Mana usually goes oom because: 1) people don't gear up for mana regen. 2)people spam spells without carefully managing their mana. 3)people expect to be able to heal forever.

What Toxilock said is true. Shadowburn is the most powerful finisher in the game and combined with Havoc+Chaos Bolt it can really put the hurt on anyone. :D

I would be surprised to find mages who didn't use Glyph of Ice Block :) As for Alter Time, most people use it offensively, for bursting, but I've seen VERY few who actually know how to use this defensively. That's where Alter Time really shines. Use it defensively and not only you have a great kiting tool, but also a tool that privides immunity to spells. And 6 seconds is an eternity versus a good mage!

Oh, but you are wrong! This clicker vs binder dispute has been going on for so long it's no longer funny anymore. Mathmaticians and computer programmers actually tested the differences between response times and came up with a shocking result. As long as the player has a great Hand-Eye coordination, the average difference between clicking and binding is 0.27 seconds. If people actually believe 0.27 seconds of difference is the difference between life and death, then I rest my case and won't open my mouth about this anymore. The REAL problem behind clicking your spells is the inability, or partial ability, to mouse-turn. However, on certain classes wich actively use of only a few spells, mouse turning is not an issue. For example, me being a clicker, I can't play warrior....but I have no problem playing Monk. I can play mage, but can't play Holy Priest. So, as a conclusion, keybinding IS actually a very tiny bit better, as in faster then clicking, but the difference is so low you can't even see it with the naked eye. The bigger difference between the two is keyboard-turning vs mouse-turning. In this regard, there can be no dispute. A mouse turner will simply own a keyboard turner purely because of the difference in speed. BUT, if you play the right class....or have long fingers like me, this is not an issue. Hope my pseudo-science clears away some of the urban legends formed around this difference. Oh, throughout all my gaming experience(about 25 years and still going) I've met all types of players, from old to really young, from terrible to absolutely magnificent. Only in WoW I've been horribly judged for being a clicker and the irony is that this clicker whooped their arses in battle every time I cought them :) PS: Don't judge someone by the way they use their keyboards or mice, but judge them by how they play and what type of people they are.

Report players for what? You cannot report AFK players in BGs and you can't report people for spamming, since the function doesn't work. (hope will be fixed soon). However, if you deal with spammers or you are getting harassed, don't hesitate to report those players here, in this forum, providing picture(s) of the abuse and a moderator/GM will either mute them or ban them, depending on the gravity of the offense. I care. :)

If you've played Disc for years, stick to disc regardless if it's "weaker". All healers this patch are horribly OP, so you can't be killed by any single person if you know what you're doing, regardless if Holy or Disc.

The devs are fully aware of the exploit related to this spell and will fix it in the shortest time possible. Meanwhile, I encourage you to screenshot and post every abuser you see so that they get what they deserve.

Undergeared players are, usually, newly rolled toons. There are situations where an antire BG is consisted of Malvolent wearers, aswelll as there are times when you face a fully geared team. It's the way of the game and not a reason to rant on the forum. Instead of this, why don't you make a battleground guide for new players so that Horde actually wins BG more often? Just saying,,

Would you rather have the server lagging like hell due to excess flow of data? The server restarts every day automatically. What you lost is no big thing, stop dramatizing. You weren't in the middle of a high-end raid with the endboss at 5% HP when it occured. You were just about to win a BG. Well tough luck, do another! For the future, take my advise, NEVER insult someone/something that's providing you a service completely free. You may lose access to it.

You're insulting the server's staff, risking a ban, because you lost 2k honor(that's 2 BG wins?) due to an automatic server restart? Good luck on another server then.

What makes you think having a high rating on a private server makes you, in any way, skilled? There are people who exploit MMR, there are people who crash people, there are people who play gamebreaking bugged classes....and all of this is done for rating. We're already getting FEWER CPs then retail beause Battleground wins aren't awarded per each victory, but only once per day. A fully geared player in Pandawow may not be 2.5k+ worthy, but he's not a noob either...admit it.

Your character can only hold 999999 gold. If you had more then 499.999 gold on your character, you get nothing for your sale, or, in your case, only a fraction. I'm selling mounts for 300k a piece when I already have 800k+ gold on my char and I get exactly 0 from the successful transactions, unless I transfer some money. Anyway, if you're short on gold and you play on Fun, just roll a new char-transfer all the gold-delete the toon-roll another and repeat :)

The servers are actually quite capable of handleing double the population we currently have, so it's not the servers that are causing the problem.

I pulled the character frame right on top of my action bars purely to keep on eye on my Chi when I play monk. Couldn't get WeakAuras to show them either :( It's worth trying other Addons that do the same thing, tho. I'll try again tonight, as I haven't played monk in a really long time, and I'll write here if I find any fix. Cheers!

Hello, What you need to do in order to see the exploit being fixed is three things: 1)Write a proper bug report about the combination of spells having an unintended effect. 2)Report the exploiters with a proper exploit report. This must include conclusive evidence of the exploit being used through either pictures or screen capture software such as Fraps. 3)Make sure that when you report the use of an exploit, you don't actually explain how the exploit is done, like you just did. It encourages others to use it, resulting in even more frustration for you.

Nah, I'm quite sure it's random. It happened to me like 3 times on my mage and once on my shadow priest. After seeing it happen, I decided to test it further so I can write a proper bug report. Was unable to reproduce the effect in a few thousand tries, respecting the exact same order of buffs/debuffs, so I don't think anyone can actually do it on demand.

Some forms of crowd control(CC) aren't working to their full extent and/or sometimes bug out, having only a visual effect. It's not an exploit, if that's what you are implying. It CAN also happen due to discrepancies between server side and client side, for example: -I use Ice Block on my mage and, without canceling it, I'm able to move and cast while still retaining the invulnerability. I was unable to reproduce this effect, so now I'm certain it's either a bug within a spell, or worse a combination of spells, or a lag issue.
