- Elemental Blast

2. Description of the problem.

- When i use Elemental Blast it give me 5 agility and 5 mastery no matter what.

3.How it must work.

- It must give 3500 agility and 3500 mastery, crit, or haste.

4.Date when you tested it.

- 20.04.2014

5.Realm (x100/x10/Fun).

- Fun

6.Priority of the problem.

- I can't say how important is it but this is the most used talent so it's good to be fixed.

Why don't you try looking at your actual stats before posting nonsense? It's obviously a tooltip visual bug.

No proc: agility 14.045

With proc: agility 14.051

I don't care that much about the damage as i care for the 3500 agility every 8 sec given by Elemental Blast .

Tested at target dummy and it seems to be only visual bug, and only bug is that u cant see the increase in stats, but the damage is bigger with the buff.

Well the bug is there, 10/10 it does a crappy damage and dont give the correct stats, doing shamana dps spects unplayable

Confirmed on 10x its give only 5 points of crit, mastery or haste.

the spell itself has low damage as elemental and even lower as enhancement.

as enhancement it should be able to crit for over 100k which it doesnt and also it always increases your mastery and agility which is fine if you're enhancement shaman but even as elemental where it shuld increase your mastery and haste it increases agility instead

The damage seems to be correct? lol i've played 5 months with enh shammy in Blizz, elemental blast damage is double than here :D it have almost double damage than lava lash.. here lava lash have almost double damage than elemental blast.. sry for my English

Everyone is wrong, Elemental Blast doesn't give Agility AND stats, it give Agility OR stats. It doesnt always procc agility...

 

Patch 5.2.0 (5-Mar-2013): Elemental Blast now has a chance to increase the caster's Agility for Enhancement Shaman.

Nope, you're wrong. Lava Lash's dmg isn't higher than EB. Versus mobs I crit more than 300k with EB, when LL deals only 200+k.

Maybe you don't know your rotation or how to maximize EB dmg.

It really depends on your items. You can't expect high crits with malevolent gear.

My enh shammy crits over 150k on players and 300k+ on mobs.

That's interesting, cause my max crit with EB is 110k in players. In dummies i crit 350k LL and 350K EB aswell. EB is bugged here and does much less damage than it should. Full Griveous players from retail were shooting 120-150k in each other here 110k is max with fullcd.

 

O and btw I have Griev weapons and 9 Griev items.

When did you check retail about those numbers? Retail has Prideful, so maybe that's where that difference is coming from?

Check Diablous + Tactiq + Shamguard videos if you need proof. They have a ton of videos from 5.4.3 where they hit 150k+ in 3v3 arenas. And they almost always crit (unlike here) and never under 110-120k

In 3vs3, you have buffs/auras from 2 other people, so that cannot be conclusive. Youtube videos don't mean anything. It's like a scientist searching for facts on Wikipedia, it just doesn't happen.

Also, their opponents in those 3vs3 fights could have had different gear, different buffs, procs up etc.

If you want to test something, the only way to guarantee corectness of your testing is if you do it self buffed on an opponent with very low or no armor at all. Testing needs to be repeated at least 500 times to insure nothing wrong can happen randomly. As for testing spells, you need quite a few thousands of casts to determine these types of differences.

Yea this is the typical "we are too lazy to fix it" reply. No matter what aura or buffs you have that is never 50-60k difference in damage. In bg's you have shitloads of more buffs. And at 2600+ rating you dont have different gear you have the BIS pvp gear. Also on this server buffs stack up like 4 times wich even further prooves that its bugged. Even with 3 attack power buffs and 3 stat buffs ele blast hits for only 110k whereas on retail it does 140k minimum unbuffed in pvp. Worthless to reply people are too stupid to understand how game works even if we scratch their eyes out with other videos and proofs. You will never be able to make the right math for this, cause everyone fails at it.

I never claimed the staff won't bother fixing it. They will, if you guys bring actual proof.

 

Your proof consists of youtube videos and that's pretty much it. Do I need to point out how stupid that is? I hope not!

Did you actually bother to test? Do you know what testing in games actually is? Do you know how a single spell needs to be tested in order to point out conclusive results? No!

You went and PvPed for a few BGs, then spammed your spell on the Dummy 50 times and came to the conclusion that "lol, it's bugged OMG stupid people".

 

If you talk about math, I want to see your spreadsheet where you did the average of 15.000 tests(that is the absolute minnimum that needs to be done for a conclusive answer), with the normal testing being closer to 50.000 to completely eliminate the RNG factor. Only then you can make such claims. Untill then, a youtube video and an insult clearly aren't enough evidence to support your claim that EB is bugged.

Not sure if you experienced this aswell but obn the 100x realm as enh shaman, when you have 5 Maelstrom procs and try to use Elemental Blast it doesn't work WHILE moving, you have to stand still for a second and then cast it ( with 5 maelstrom procs )

 

PS: The damage of Elemental Blast is fine on the 100x realm.

Also Elemental Blast is working only as Elemental not Enchancement i test it and it give me mastery,agility,crit and haste.
